8:02 AM 9/3/2009: Just got off the ...

Phone with somebody that I have never done business with before that was very, very upset when I told him that I am booked up today. And could not make a service call 60 miles out of Reno. Yet alone be there and have his network all fixed before 9:00 am this morning.

After being told more then once by this person that my company must not be very good if I had no free time today to help him I pointed him to another comapny that does work in his area.

He then went on that he had called somebody he knew and they told him that I was the guy to fix his problems. I then told him to thank his friend for me and maybe we could try for tommorow when I have a few openings.

I was then told that he was "very important" and I should drop whoever I had lined up today for service and get out to him now. And that if I could not do that I must be a very bad person running a bad business.

When I pointed out to this man that I would not drop service calls that had already been made and that I must not be very bad since his friends were telling him to call me and the fact that I am booked up most days with other people wanting my services he just went off. Saying a few words not fit to print here.

Oh well need to get on the road for the people that do like me!
