9:47 AM 10/7/2009: Are these guys real?

Ok, ok. I have gone on for years about "techs" that should just not be in business because of lack of skills, service or just were total rip offs.

For some reason I just get hot under the collar when I see some of these "techs" ads. Today on craigslist for example we have...

1. A guy that post everyday that you can get 2 hours of free service, but for today only.
(this ad has been going on well over 100 days, better hurry!)

2. A guy that charges more then $100 over the going rate to repair your computer.
("IF" you'll drive it out to Fernley!)

3. Another guy that starts his ad selling LLC's and then will do website design as well for you.
(jack of all trades, master of none... And I won't get into a website pro that has his website hosted on a free service.)

It's things like the list above that just bring the image down for all computer techs. If you do good work you don't need to have 2 jobs, over charge or have a firesale everyday.
