Just got a call from a "tech" asking if I can help him out.
I asked how and he wanted me to confirm his diagnostic on-site at one of his customers offices. I said sure I could go do a on-site diag and let him know what I find out and then he said...
no, no I'll just tell you what I found and you can confirm it.
Guess I was a bit dumb without my first cup of coffee and I said
"yep, I'll confirm your diag and get back to you."
He then said...
you don't need to confrim anything just go and act like your looking at it and then tell the customer I was right.
Well after that sunk in I told the "tech" that I would not "confirm" something I did not know was true. And then asked him if he was having a problem he could not identify and would like some "REAL" help. He just hung up so I guess that's a no.
