Why Remote Services just can't get it done.

On-Site service in your home or office is much better then "Remote" or "Online" Services.
Do you want to trust your business and private data to somebody you have never met 3,000 miles away at some call center? How do you know for sure your connected with a business and not an identity thief sitting at home?

No doubt you do not want to deal with trying to get a broken computer to connect with somebody else's computer. And none of these services can fix a hardware problem, but will be more then happy to take your money trying to fix your computer anyway.

They also can not see little things like a loose power cable or just a simple setting in your hardware that could make Windows run again. The dirty little secret of "online" repair is that your system has to be running well to be able to connect to them.

Got a Virus or Spyware? While they claim they can get rid of them online in fact they can not get your computer to the special running conditions needed to Guarantee your system is clean. Just doing a virus scan with Windows still running means you have a much higher chance of an unsuccessful repair.

And then there is always the question of what do you do if you get disconnected in the middle of their service? Will you be able to get back online? Will you have to call back and tell operator #427 what was going on all over again?
