We had ****** ********* come to our house to repair our computer and they said we had to buy a new one. Then wanted to charge us over $100 to look at our system when we said we could not get a new system. James at Reno geeks said on the phone our problem did not sound that bad and came over the next day. Less then 10 minutes after he got here our system was working again and for less then what ****** ********* wanted to charge us just to say nothing could be done. Thank you!

Good is good...
I just can't say enough good things about you Jim. Please post this up on your netpages. The store said I just needed a new system I kept thinking that they just wanted to sell me something, which they tried to do. Jim came by my place and told me that they were right but gave me a CD that would at least let me get my email while I save up for a new machine. He never tried to sell me anything I did not ask about. And after 30 minutes of talking to me he just handed me a few cards and said to tell my friends about him and the visit was on the house as my computer was too far gone to do much with. You don't meet many people today that really care about customers. But this is one of them.

I took my computer into some cheap place I found on the internet. They ended up telling me it would cost me much more then they claimed to charge and kept my computer for months. All the while trying to sell me a new computer every time I called asking if they were done with my computer. I felt like all my photos were being held hostage. I got it back from them and had James come to my house to take a look at my computer. He showed me in less then 5 minutes what was wrong and even how to fix it myself if it happens again. I am telling everybody about his great service.

I just wanted to say thank you.
Everybody just laughed at me when I wanted to fix the computer I learned to program on. One store even hung up on me when I told them it was close to thirty years old. You just said "let's do it" found the parts and had it back to me Monday morning. What can you say about your kind of service but great!

We talked with RenoGeek a number of times and then went with a different company because they were cheaper. The other company made things worse so we called RenoGeek back and asked them for help. Not only was everything fixed fast but we were treated with respect even though they knew we had called somebody else in.

Thanks for the quick reply. I followed your advise and deleted all of the startup programs excluding the ones for security and it has helped a lot. Start up time went from about 6 min. down to about 2. Is that close to being normal or is it still too long a time. Seems ok to me. Thanks again for your help.
